buySAFE® is all about safety. It's our mission to make online transactions safer for buyers and we work very hard to achieve this goal.

Safety Tips:
There is no such thing as being "too safe", so we ask you to remember these three tips:

1. Always look for and verify a buySAFE Seal.
   A Bonded Transaction will include a verifiable buySAFE Seal in the item listing. To verify a Seal is real, click on the text below the Seal image within the item listing. A click on a verified buySAFE Seal will open a Seal Verification Page at http://www.buysafe.com/verifyseal.asp that includes the present date and time, as well as the item and seller information for that listing.
   
   You can also verify a buySAFE Seal by visiting the buySAFE website at www.buysafe.com and clicking on "Verify a Seal" in the top right corner of the homepage. To verify a Seal this way, you will need both the Seller's User ID and the Item Number for that item listing.
2. Check the URL.
   Any buySAFE webpage will begin with www.buysafe.com, ww2.buysafe.com or www.buysafeshopping.com. When you verify a buySAFE Seal directly from an item listing, you should see the URL http://www.buysafe.com/verifyseal.asp in your browser address bar. Always be sure to look for this.
3. Know what buySAFE does and does not do:
   Remember, buySAFE is NOT a payment service, nor an escrow service. We do not collect money from buyers and we do not ask for or accept money from buyers. Remember, buySAFE is FREE to buyers!
• buySAFE's services are only available for sellers who reside in the United States of America. Buyers residing outside the United States and its territories are not protected by the bond. That said, when dealing with a legitimate Bonded Seller, you are dealing with one of the best merchants anywhere, and the likelihood your transaction will result in a problem is much smaller.
• buySAFE's services are not available for items sold offline.
• All Bonded Items will have a legitimate Item Number and Seller User ID on a marketplace where buySAFE is available.
• buySAFE's surety partners currently only bond items on the following marketplaces: eBay.com, Overstock.com Auctions and TIAS.com.
• All winning buyers will receive an email from buySAFE.com with instructions for accessing their surety bond at buySAFE's website. To ensure delivery to your email inbox (not junk or bulk folder), please add customersupport@buysafe.com to your address book or list of approved senders.

If you are ever directed to a site other than www.buysafe.com, ww2.buysafe.com or www.buysafeshopping.com, or asked to send funds to someone claiming to be from buySAFE.com, please contact us immediately by phone at 1-888-9-BONDED or by email at fraudalert@buysafe.com.
